HL Paper 2 response using Antigone by Sophocles and Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead  by Olga Tokarczuk.

This week we have published a sample Paper 2 response to one of the questions on the May 2024 TZ2 examination. The student uses Antigone by Sophocles and Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead  by Olga Tokarczuk in a response to the question about female heroism. 

The response is well balanced between the two text and uses relevant aspects of each to develop a fairly convincing comparison. That said, improvements could be made in all criteria, so it is useful to use such models with students and ask them to critique it, looking at what is good as well as what could be better.
