The following response compares and contrasts two plays, "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller and "Ghosts" by Henrik Ibsen. It has many strengths - showing thoughtful insight into both plays, and comparing the two works quite successfully. However, it lacks attention to features of literary or dramatic craft; students will hopefully spot this and make suggestions as to how the essay could therefore be improved.
