Characters

Charactersisation Characters are a central aspect of most literary works and how authors create their characters and the extent to which we identify with them is a fundamental part of how we interpret the text as a whole. As such, the study of any fictional work should include consideration of how authors use characterisation and the effects created for readers; these effects will often be related to the concept of identity.
