Academic integrity
Academic integrity is a significant feature of the IBDP. It is an area where there is some expectation that the expertise of the librarian will be valued, along with various other stakeholders in the IBDP school. in this section, we look at aspects of academic integrity in the IBDP in relation to library/ian involvement.
Academic integrity is an important aspect of the DP for the librarian, so we focus on:
- IB thinking / philosophy
- IBDP documentation
- Stated and real role(s) of library/ian
- Support to students
- Support to teachers and others
- What isn't part of the role
- What shouldn't be left solely to the librarian
- Referencing styles
