FYI - Changes to Your Login and How You Access the Website

FYI - the login process has changed for this website!
Before I go into details about it, let me provide you a personal example. Today - June 19th, 2024 - I went to log in to the InThinking: English A: Language and Literature site as I do every morning. But this time I couldn’t! Why?
I used to have a “username.” That username is no longer valid. Instead, I had to use the email address that is associated with my account.
Okay. Not a problem. I typed in my email address associated with my account. I then entered my password. But I wasn’t done yet! Why? My password was pretty weak.
So, after creating a new password, I logged in to my InThinking English A: Language and Literature account. All good!
In other words, if you are having problems with logging into the website, follow these steps:
- Use the email address associated with the account (not your “username”).
- (Possibly) create a new password.
- In the future, log in with your email and (new) password.
Very occasionally, one email is being shared by several users. This will no longer be possible. Each user will need to have a unique email in order to log in.
If you are still having issues, unfortunately, David and I can’t help you per se on the tech side of things. You will have to email [email protected] explaining and detailing the issues you are having with logging into the website. Make sure to say it is for the English A: Language and Literature site as InThinking has a bunch of sites for a ton of different courses.
