How to set an assignment

Setting an assignment is easy on Inthinking. You can choose whether you want to assign a reading task or a task for submission simply by going to the orange box right under your name in the top left corner of any page.
Choose the class to whom you want to assign this task. Then click on "set as task"

Once you've clicked the "Set as Task" button, a screen will appear so that you can give the students further instructions and set the parameters of the task.
For example, you can:

- Give optional instructions.
- Report results in a variety of manners.

The assignment now appears in the teacher's assignment list for this group. Students will see the assignment on their student dashboard.

- Graded quizzes from the qbank will appear automatically scored.
- Reading assignments will automatically be checked when completed.
- Written tasks will appear gradable.
