This week, we’ve been updating all of our Paper 2 exemplars.  You will now find two sets of marks for each model example for all 17 samples on the site. You can find the exemplars under the following headings:

May 2023 Paper 2s

Pre-2023 Paper 2s

For each sample essay, you will find two sets of marks.  The first set of marks are for students taking the May and November 2025 Paper 2 exam.  They are working off of one set of criteria out of a total of 30 points.  In other words, use this set of marks for students in their final year of the course (i.e. Grade 12, Year 13, Seniors…).

The second set of marks are for students taking the May 2026 Paper 2 exam and beyond.  Their Paper 2 is marked using different criterion.  For these students, their Paper 2 exam is out of a total of 25 points.

If you teach both year groups, you will need to be using different criteria.  In other words, all of the exemplars are now up-to-date and available for all of your students.  Finally, we are in the process of curating our exemplars for May 2024 and hope to start publishing them by late November.
