Paper 2 - new sample response

After two years with no paper 2, it is now back for our current first year DP students and so we will be adding more materials for this assessment in the coming months
Linked from this page are some paper 2 sample responses with teacher marks and comments, including a new sample that has just been added. We will be looking to add more examples, covering a range of different questions and different literary forms.
It is important for teachers and students to look at a range of examples in order to become familiar with the expectations of this examination and how student work is assessed using the criteria.
While many of the samples could be described as very good, they do vary in approach, style and quality; it is important for students to see that there is not one set way of responding to these questions, and it is also useful to look at examples in terms of what they get wrong or could do better, as well as those that do a lot of things right.
