HL Paper 2 response using Othello and A Streetcar Named Desire

This week we have published another sample Paper 2 response to one of the questions on the May 2024 TZ2 examination. The student uses Othello by Shakespeare and A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams in a response to the question focussed on relationships in literary works. 

This is a reasonably successful response overall: it is developed and balanced well between the two texts. As wtih any response there are areas that coud be improved and it is useful for students - and teachers - to look at where and how such an essay could be improved.

Please note that all current samples on the site use the criteria for assessment up to and including examinations taken in 2025. The new, adapted critera, as outlined in this post here -  Changes to the course 2024  - are for first teaching in 2024 and first assessment in 2026.
