Computer architecture

This section covers an outline of the architecture of the central processing unit (CPU) and the functions of the arithmetic logic unit (ALU) the control unit (CU) and the registers within the CPU. You will also study primary memory by looking at RAM and cache and be able to explain the machine instruction cycle.
