IB Core

The three core elements are:

  • Theory of knowledge. This component gets students to reflect on the nature of knowledge. 
  • The extended essay. This is a 4000 word research paper undertaken independently by the student.
  • Creativity, activity, service. this is a project based on all the elements of CAS.
