The use of non-original music in the IB Film portfolio can be Confusing and Challenging. It can also be instructive and help scaffold skills. Non Original Music must not interfere with a student"s ability to demonstrate proficiency in their roles. However, projects that use non-original music can be an effective way of helping students scaffold visual & storytelling skills before introducing the sound designer role.
