Paper 1 revision: a poem
Sunday 8 May 2022
As the May examinations are upon us and the English exam comes in a few days, we have added another student revision page for Paper 1. Like the last one, this revision page is focused on one paper 1 style extract - this time a poem - and a guiding question. There is an accompanying quiz that takes students through a series of questions to help them annotate and unpack the extract in response to a specific guiding question. This page is focused on the poem 'The Killer' by Judith Wright.
The new revision page can be accessed via the link below and the others can be accessed by the link beneath that. All allow for direct student access.
The more practice students have with analysing a range of unseen literary extracts, the more confident and skilled they will become in developing responses to any given text.
These revision pages are designed to help teachers who may be running short of different ways to help students prepare for the one examination this year.
