This week we have added a new page about how a concept-based approach can help students with the knowledge, skills and understandings required for Paper 1.  

The idea behind concept-based teaching and learning is to identify and work with big ideas that underpin a subject and which can provide a framework of understanding for all the knowledge and skills that students will encounter within that subject.   This is of particular importance with the Paper 1 assessment, an unseen examination where students' success will depend on their ability to develop and apply sophisticated conceptual understandings about literature.
