MYP Enhancements Update - April 2026
In addition to the previously released information on MYP Enhancements, further key updates were shared at the recent IB conference in Mumbai. These include:
- the introduction of a new digital platform for Enhanced MYP subject guidance
- updates to MYP unit planning, including the introduction of Central Ideas and Lines of inquiry and the replacement of Global Contexts with MYP Themes
- the introduction of two types of MYP assessment criteria: subject-generic and subject-specific
- new details on the three subject-specific criteria for MYP Language and Literature
