The first story in the collection, Cell One is told from the perspective of a young Nigerian girl whose brother gets arrested and put in prison. The story depicts the family"s visits to him in prison and in doing so portrays and explores several social, cultural and political issues in Nigeria such as corruption, privilege and class.
