Paper 1 revision: prose fiction extract

Friday 22 April 2022

As the examinations fast approach, this week we have added another student revision page for Paper 1.  This revision page takes a different form to the previous ones as it is focused on one paper 1 style extract and guiding question.  There is an accompanying quiz that takes students through a series of questions to help them annotate and unpack the extract in response to a specific guiding question.  This page is focused on a prose fiction extract from Postcards by E. Annie Proulx.

The new revision page can be accessed via the link below and the others can be accessed by the link beneath that.  All allow for direct student access.

The more practice students have with analysing a range of unseen literary extracts, the more confident and skilled they will become in developing responses to any given text.

These revision pages are designed to help teachers who may be running short of different ways to help students prepare for the one examination this year.
