As we reach the end of this 2023, I am writing to share the latest resources posted to the site over the last few weeks. Welcome to all the new schools who have signed up over the last few weeks! We are delighted you have joined us and look forward to hearing more about further resources you would like to access on the site in the future.
What's New on the Website in December?
Updates to the Comprehensive Library of Reading Lists!
Over the last couple of months, the reading resources area has been growing and growing into an extensive collection of curated reading lists and reading tools for your students. In addition to the extensive choice of reading lists already available, new to the collection is a graphic text reading list, as well as the final list in the series of European countries lists. You can now also find texts from the European countries (R-Z), in addition to countres (A-G) and (H-P). In the pipe-line for early in 2024 are lists for South America and more lists in the genre series.

Poetry Lesson Resources
We continue to receive positive feedback about the poetry lesson resources. Thank you for the support. New for December is a seasonal poem from Robert Frost: Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening with both teacher and student pages. If you set up a student account, your students will be able to access the page directly.
If you're looking for a second Winter themed poem, Those Winter Sundays by Robert Hayden would be a great choice. Each Poem to Go is a complete teaching resource including pre-reading activities, a summary and analysis of the poem and both short and longer questions with model answers.

Do your students have access to the website yet?
In response to your valuable feedback, we continue to create subject group overviews to support unit planning for all the units on the website. Early in 2024, a new series of year and cross programme course outlines will be launched.
A few schools have already signed up for student site access. One of the valuable aspects of the website is the possibility for teachers to create class groups and student assignments within the website environment. Teachers can assign pages for students to study and formative quizzes and summative assessment tasks for completion on the website. These features simplify the teaching and learning process, including setting and marking student assessments, recording student achievement and providing feedback.
