The global lockdown has certainly thrust many teachers around the world into uncharted territory. Approaches to teaching have to be reevaluated, as what works in the traditional classroom does not easily transfer to the digital classroom. There is an opportunity, however abrupt, to rethink teaching approaches and move more and more towards a pedagogical design that places the student at the center of teaching and learning.
