A common comment from examiners that appears on Maths HL Subject Reports is that teachers are strongly encouraged to take measures to develop their students' problem solving skills and their ability to tackle unfamiliar exam questions. This is especially important for Maths Higher Level.  Below are some excerpts from past Maths HL Subject Reports in the section entitled "Recommendations and guidance for the teaching of future students":
